Din-Din tonight....POT ROAST!

Every so often I like to try something new from Pinterest for dinner, or dessert, or for fun...Seriously! There are so many great ideas on that site! (But that can all be saved for a later post)

Tonight we decided on a different spin on our Pot Roast. I really can't wait to eat it because it smells so damn delicious!!

Here is the recipe that I am trying tonight:

*What you need:

• 1 (4 -5 lb) beef roast , any kind (I used prime cut sirloin because it was the least fat)
• 1 package brown gravy mix, dry
• 1 package dried Italian salad dressing mix
• 1 package ranch dressing mix, dry
• 1 to 1 and 1/2 cup water
• OPTIONAL (red potatoes and carrots and onions)

What you do:

1. Add the vegetables to the bottom of the crockpot, if desired.
2. Place beef roast in crock pot.
3. Mix the dried mixes together in a bowl with 1 cup of water and sprinkle over the roast.
4. Pour the extra water around the roast, if desired (I did)
5. Cook on low for 7-9 hours.

I'll have to let you know how it ended up a little later...

Bath Tub Love

I bought Bailee some bath crayons and we enjoy drawing surprise pictures and notes to each other. I even do it to Mike in our bathroom...however I am still waiting on a response from him. ;)

Florence Nightingale

For the past 2 months Bailee has been reading and studying about a famous person for her biography. She chose Florence Nightingale as her famous person and I couldn't be more proud. We worked hard on making her book report perfect and she gave the presentation on Thursday (3/8).

She even got flowers from Mike for doing such a good job.

I am so proud of my Gooey. She is such a smart and amazing child.

Battle of the Leprechans

Mike's birthday is the day after St. Paddy's Day. And for some odd reason he finds midgets, (or little people) hilarious.

At the Nugget Casino in Wendover, NV they are doing a 'Battle of the Leprechans'. AKA Midget Wrestling.

Mike is over the moon with this event. So for his bday we will be in Wendover watching little people wrestle each other.

I am almost positive I'll be laughing my ass off the entire time.

Yes, I put $10 in my car and it got me to work and as I was pulling onto the freeway, heading home from work my damn gas light came on again.

Are our jobs going to pay us more so that we can actually afford to go to our shitty, dead-end jobs?

2 years is right around the corner!

Mike and I are planning a Vacation (short, extended weekend) for our 2 year Anniversary. We have been having the hardest time trying to decide where to go, because we want it to be romantic and a lot of fun.

I think we have decided on Reno. I know, I know- RENO?!!?

Haha- It's sentimental to us. It was the place we went on our first vacation together and the place where he first told me he loved me.

We are hoping to go skydiving or on a romantic balloon ride- but just being together and celebrating our love is plenty for me!

It's never going to happen!

I have had 8 announcements of pregnancies, yes you heard me right, EIGHT! Within the past 10 days.

While I am extremely happy for them, I can't help but feel sorry for myself. I want a new bundle of joy so incredibly bad. And I want it with Michael.

I am scared to find out what is wrong with me. Eric and I tried for years after Bailee with no luck, and now Mike and I have been trying for 16 months.

It hurts so incredibly badly. It's all I want!

A day dedicated to my man.

Today I am cleaning our gross kitchen (mind you it's been ignored while we were vacationing), and doing all the laundry.

I am letting him lay on the couch and play his video game and just taking care of it all.

I even gave him an early birthday present. 'The movie "The Thing" (even though they were out of blu-ray) and some Jelly Beans. (that I mostly ate...shsssshhhh)

He puts up with my shit and laziness enough-it's his day to relax.

I just hope he knows how much I LOVE HIS HEART OUT!

Fresh New Blog for a Fresh New Me

I am ready to start a blog that centers around my little family. Michael, Bailee, and me.

It'll be random, it'll be full of photos, (cheesy or awesome), but most of all- It'll be our family blog. And, if I CAN get Mike to post from time to time, that'd be great. I defiantly plan on having Bailee contribute.

It'll make a great book to give us as a gift at the end of the year.

To start off with- I LOVE MY FAMILY. Michael is that best thing that I has walked into my life. And Bailee just adores him.

I couldn't ask for anything more. :)
